A note from the organizers

A note from the organizers

Our hackathon journey started back in high school and has taken us from weekend coding adventures to winning major competitions across the country. Between us, we've participated in over 40 hackathons each, secured 10+ first places, and won over $100K in prizes. From university competitions like HackPrinceton and GT Hacklytics to winning at Anthropic's Builder's Day ($5K) and ETHGlobal's ZK in Deep Learning challenge ($5K), we've experienced it all.

Life has a funny way of bringing people together. While pursuing our master's degrees at USF, we each ended up living in San Francisco's Chinatown, and found each other at Yee's Restaurant. Between bowls of their comforting complimentary soup and hearty braised beef stew, we discovered our shared passion for tech and community. Those shared meals taught us more than just appreciation for local flavors - they showed us the heart and soul of this community. Living here has shown us the beauty of this historic neighborhood and inspired us to create a hackathon that gives back to the community that's become our home.

Our Track Record:

  • 40+ hackathons across the team

  • 10+ first-place wins including Gen AI competitions (Microsoft, Anthropic, ETHGlobal) and traditional hackathons

  • Over $100K in prizes won

  • A deep understanding of what makes hackathons truly special

What makes us different is that we've been in your shoes at every stage. We know what it's like to attend your first hackathon, the thrill of winning, and the challenge of building something meaningful under pressure. That's why we're focused on creating the kind of event we always wanted to attend - one that's welcoming, well-organized, and impactful.

Just as the lanterns of Chinatown light up our neighborhood, we hope this hackathon will spark innovations that brighten our community's future. Join us in building technology that honors tradition while embracing progress.

祝你好運 (Good Fortune) in your hackathon journey!
